Stenberg College is currently seeking Registered Cardiology Technologists, Cardiac Care Nurses, and Paramedics with extensive ECG experience and Medical Lab Technologists to take on the contract roles of ECG, Stress Testing, Holter Monitoring & Phlebotomy lab instructors in Winnipeg.
We are very proud to introduce the national Cardiology Technologist Combined Delivery Program in Winnipeg. The program is recognized by the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT) and our classroom-based program in Surrey, BC and combined delivery program in Calgary, AB have both been accorded a 6-year accreditation status by the Canadian Medical Association (CMA). Stenberg College has registered for the CMA Accreditation of the Winnipeg-based offering of the Cardiology Technologist Combined Delivery Program. The program assessment is tentatively scheduled for June 2013. The Combined Delivery Program allows for flexibility for both our students and instructors. In addition to online coursework, students put into practice what they have learned during regional lab blocks.

This program will give you the confidence and ability to lead and engage your learners. With support, you will be able to translate your managerial experiences into a tool kit of resources
that you will be able to access to successfully mentor a group of students through their lab course.
We are currently recruiting for the following lab groups in the Winnipeg (Wellness Institute) region:
- ECG Lab Skills – starting December 1/12 for 4 weeks
- Exercise Tolerance Testing – starting February 9/13 for 4 weeks
- Phlebotomy Training – starting February 9/13 for 4 weeks
- Intro to Holter Monitoring is approximately 26 hours starting February 9/13, 4 week block

We require a minimum 3 – 5 years work experience as a Registered Cardiology Technologist/Cardiac Care Nurse/Paramedic with ECG experience/Medical Lab Technologist. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification is preferred. Previous supervisory and/or training experience is an asset.
