An opportunity exists in Stantec's Red Deer office for a Practice Lead in Structural engineering. This office has over 175 people supporting our clients locally and across Canada. Responsibilities include:

Preparing proposals and work plans.
Planning and designing concrete, steel and wood structures.
Preparation of contract specifications.
Contract administration.
Supervision of junior engineering and technical staff.

Bachelor degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
P.Eng. or eligibility for registration with APEGA.
Minimum of 10-12 years experience including:
Structural design of steel and pre-stressed concrete structures,
Design in concrete, steel, masonry and timber,
Structural assessment of buildings, bridges and inventories,
Loading analysis,
Condition assessment,
Strategic planning.
Experience with AutoCAD and MicroStation would be an asset.
