The Age-Friendly Coordinator is responsible for the maintenance and expansion of Senior Advisory Committee initiatives. Age-Friendly planning will be focused on coordination and administration of a needs assessment and awareness campaign for phase I of an Age-Friendly Plan for Chatham-Kent. The Age-Friendly Coordinator will provide support to Senior Centres throughout Chatham-Kent by assisting with resource and administrative tasks such as grant writing, information technology support, as well as fostering networking and partnership opportunities. This position will play a lead role in the reporting and accountability requirements of the Senior Advisory Committee and St. Andrew’s Residence to the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, Ontario Trillium Foundation, and other funders as required.
Degree in Social Science or health related discipline or a Graduate degree with a research component or equivalent knowledge or experience.
