The Receptionists responsibiltiy is to greet clients and visitors, in person or on a multilined switchboard phone then direct the person to the most appropriate person or department for their needs. Often, the job of receptionist is not limited to reception duties. Responsibilties also include receive and distribute mail, receive payments and receipts from all departments, balance and post, assist with billing and back up of accounts payable, monitor and distribute petty cash and various other duties.
