Position: Regional Manager – Western Region Reporting: VP Operations
Location: Edmonton, Alberta Reports: Multiple

Client Profile

Our client is a strategic 3PL major providing exceptional transportation and customized logistics solutions to its clients. A key player in the technology segment our client specializes in providing a quick turnaround time for their clients. With coast to coast operations, Alberta functions as a key office for the company.


A management position, the incumbent is required to be exception relationship manager lead vendor management and people management. The position comes with a direct responsibility for the P&L for the region and is expected to have a strong background in Logistics, Applicable Technology, Logistics Operations and Exceptional Standards of Customer Service.

Key Job Requirements

  • Manage operations of internal locations and subsidiary branches and staff and accountable for Regional P&L along
  • Lead vendor relations including vendor relations, training, communications, order management, performance management. Escalations, best practices and client special requirements
  • Ensure exception customer relations and service levels at branch locations and regional vendor locations by supporting customer requirement and other value added services
  • Manage branch and vendor performance in terms of identified KPI’s, Service levels, adherence to local regulatory requirements, process improvements initiatives, cost saving initiatives, Spot Audits for performance management and communications
  • Support Business Development and implementations of new business/ client on-boarding
  • Implement Health and Safety along with Dangerous Goods practices to ensure branch and vendor compliance with policies and procedures in regional locations

Key Experience Requirements

  • Over 6 years’ experience in Logistics and Supply Chain with a at least over 2 years’ in management
  • Excellent customer service skills with polished communication skills overall
  • Team player with ability to work with cross-functional teams and all levels of management


  • Bachelor's Degree highly preferred
  • Experience with WMS/ Logistics Systems
  • Background in Multi-Client Warehousing/ Logistics
  • Same day Air/Ground freight experience preferred
  • Experience with quality programs and initiatives
