Our client is a Distribution Major who is looking for a Junior Infrastructure Support Specialist to join their team. The candidate will join a team of professionals and support the ticketing and troubleshooting requirements. The candidate will have an exception leadership team to learn from and grow their knowledge base.

Core Work Areas:

Background of working on Citrix 6.5 environment and handling tickets, requests, setups and troubleshooting requirements

Network Support

  • Active Directory:
  • Folder creation
  • Rights assignment
  • Create security groups
  • Create distribution groups
  • User rights assignment (Citrix, folders, application, etc)
  • Group Policy changes


  • Create, modify and assign rights
  • Create Rules for users when request
  • Add Send on behalf rights
  • Increase mailbox sizes
  • Troubleshoot mail issues (space issues or mail stores not mounted)
  • Mail recovery
  • Some BES Administration Task
  • Troubleshoot email delivery error (run reports on MessageLab)
  • Schemus update (MessageLab)
  • Outlook Company Contact List

Print queue creation

Basic Sharepoint Administration

RSA SecureID

  • SecureID assignment
  • Add/Delete users
  • Run Reports
  • Installing hard/soft tokens on server
  • Troubleshoot VPN connection issues (Helpdesk does not have the monitor rights to the server)

Managing space on Servers

  • Clean up H drive/TSprofile
  • Free up space on Shared drives


  • Troubleshoot connection issue related to Proxy settings
  • Assign website to allow or bypass list (in MessageLab or on proxy servers)


  • 2+ years of experience in a server support role.
  • Post-secondary technical education.
  • A Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification is preferred.

Key Information

The position is a contract role for 6 months with a possible extension
