-Respond to technical problems from end users, achieving service level targets.
-Provide short over-the-phone training sessions to customers.
-Collaborate with 3rd party vendors as necessary to resolve technical problems.
-Conduct proactive calls to customers for post-installation follow-ups and special projects.
-Provide customers with follow up emails to confirm call closure and to facilitate feedback on support and the SpeedLine product via web survey.
-Consistently meet or exceed performance objectives.
-Answer technical questions from the Sales team to aid in closing deals.
-Maintain a positive and professional speech and manner both with the customer and other employees/departments.
-Ensure the proper process is followed to ensure the security of customer information.
-Return all customer calls promptly and keep all scheduled customer appointments.
-Resolve customer calls in a timely manner or escalate.
-Manage your personal CRM call queue and respond according to priority, managing to the target call load or less.
-Document symptoms, causes, and solutions to technical problems and escalate them for inclusion in the knowledge base.
-Minimum one year experience in a first level technical support position
-Knowledge of restaurant operations and the technical requirements of a successful point of sale installation.
-Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Advanced operating system, networking, and system support knowledge and experience.
-Excellent typing and computer skills.
-Attentive to detail, and able to juggle multiple projects and react quickly to changing priorities.
-Ability to learn quickly, work independently, problem-solve, and perform a variety of tasks.
-Available to work a flexible schedule.
-Preferably, a post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate program in a related field.
