Special Event Boot Camp is looking for volunteers who want to gain experience, exposure to the industry, and an opportunity to be leaders!
Special Event Boot Camp creates an intellectually enriching environment, giving our recruits the opportunity to tackle hands on event planning, while receiving feedback from industry elite. Our 8th annual event will be held on May 13, 2014, at the beautiful venue, Fountain Blu (200 Princes' Blvd, Toronto, ON M6K 3C3). We are looking for volunteers who are looking to gain experience within the special events field as well getting an opportunity to network with professionals within the industry. You will also be served one or two complimentary meals (depending on position)! Volunteers will also have the possibility of further being involved with Special Event Bootcamp as an intern where you will be under the guidance of top industry professionals.
Positions we are looking to fill currently are:
Registration & coat check: 3 people (8:30am arrive, shift 9am-12:30am)
Usher: 2 people (8:30am arrive, shift: 9am- 12:30)
Emergency: 1 person (8:30am arrive, shift 9am- 7pm)
Lunch server: 3 people (passing lunch boxes, shift: 12pm-1pm)
Event assistant: 2 people (1pm-5pm)
Evening: 2 bartenders (5pm-7pm, smart serve required)
