TECHNICAL OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE – Edmonton and Fort McMurray
Solvent Buddy (Western) Inc. an industrial Service and Supply Company, is currently seeking a Technical Outside Sales Representatives for Edmonton and Area. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with at least 2 years of outside sales experience to develop their career within a well-established organization.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

A Technical Outside Sales Representative who has 2 years of outside sales experience in Industrial Sales, Hydrovac, and Vacuum Truck Services. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as be able to travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct direct sales with customers resulting in increased profitability.
- Meet or exceed sales performance targets.
- Improve the company’s Quality Management processes through reducing costs, increasing sales/gross profit and customer satisfaction.
- Work with management to develop sales strategies and new business prospects.
- Develop pipeline of sales through prospecting for new customers, scheduling appointments, and demonstrating product benefits.
- Comply with policies and procedures as defined in the company policy manual.
- Continuous development through reading, seminars and on the job training.
- Respond to customer product inquiries.
- Monitor customer complaints; follow up on outstanding orders, and after hour’s calls.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of the company’s service offerings.
- Actively engage in product systems and skills training and development.
- Maintain the highest regard for safety and housekeeping.
- Perform other similar or related duties as assigned by the branch manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Direct Industrial sales experience is a must.
- Experience with Hydrovac and Vacuum Trucks.
- Ability to build relationships with inside sales force and customers.
- Proven track record in sales.
- Experience prospecting for new customers.
- Analytical and problem solving capability.
- Thorough understanding of costing, pricing, sales practices, and techniques.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Analytical and problem solving capability.
- Enthusiastic and exhibits a positive attitude and desire to succeed.
- Valid driver’s license.
SALARY:

Annual salary range $60,000 to $120,000 depending on experience
