The SolutionInc Limited Pre-Sales Engineers are responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for SolutionInc Limited. The Pre-Sales Engineer must be able to articulate SolutionInc Limited’s technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. The Engineer must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process and must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.

  • Able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
  • Responsible for development and delivery of high-level product demonstrations
  • Able to convey customer requirements to Product Engineering, Professional Services, and Marketing departments.
  • Able to assist in the development of product customizations
  • Able to travel throughout sales territory

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in IT networking related sales and knowledge of IP technology. The candidate must be comfortable in a dynamic atmosphere with a rapidly expanding customer base. The candidate must possess strong presentation skills and communicate professionally in response to emails, RFPs and when submitting reports. The candidate must be organized, analytical and able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.

  • Undergraduate degree in computer science or equivalent
  • 2+ years project management skills/system integration
  • 2+ years experience in a LINUX environment
  • 2+ years experience in C, Perl/CGI- SQL database experience (Postgres,


  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP communications, UDP, sockets, and serial port interfacing
  • 2+ years network setup and configuration for LINUX Operating System
  • A strong commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid passport required
  • 3-5+ years relevant experience in sales
  • Minimum 2 years networking experience
  • Experience and familiarity of TCP/IP protocols and related hardware desired
