International Distributor of Handcrafted High-End Concrete Products

Work Hours: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Monday to Friday / 8 hr days
6 Mo. Probationary Period
Occasional Saturdays during peak season
Wage: $15-$17/hr
Start Date: ASAP

Full benefits available upon successfully completing the probationary period
Parking is available at the facility / easily accessible by public transit

Main Duties:
-finishing, assembling & packing high-end handcast concrete products
-working with chemicals & sealants applied by cloth and spraying
-hand grinding, drilling & buffing concrete surfaces
-some repair work when necessary (an eye for colour matching and quality control is an asset)
-assembling pallets & crates for shipments
-operating a forklift and/or pallet jack
-inventory movement
-general clean up of work area on a daily basis
-working to complete a daily schedule (excellent time management skills are mandatory)

Minimum Requirements:
-steel-toed safety boots are mandatory
-some related work experience in fine finishing would be an asset
-completion of secondary school
-forklift operator's certification would be an asset
-ability to work under minimum supervision
-must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs
-physically demanding, handling heavy loads, bending, crouching and kneeling
-organized and proactive individual
-excellent listening, critical thinking and communication skills
-previous use of a grinder, chop saw and electric water drill is an asset
-willing to learn quickly and adapt to various requirements in the workplace
-must be comfortable with a Criminal Background Check
-suitable to those who are punctual, consistent and reliable

*Work environment is dusty, noisy, lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis and requires working with chemicals and sealants
