From the farmer’s fields, to your customer’s plates, 100 Mile Food Services creates personalized working relationships with our clients to help tell the story behind the food.
100 Mile Food Services is a family owned and operated food distribution company servicing institutions, retail store fronts and restaurants. We source and deliver premium locally grown and processed protein, produce, dry goods, and specialty items and bring it straight to you.
Here at 100 Mile Food Services we pride ourselves on creating and upholding partnerships with local farmers, producers and suppliers to deliver sustainably locally grown foods to the food service and retail industries.
Whether a small café, or a brand name hotel, we have a wide variety of products to choose from that allow you to support local fare and farmers and feel good about the food you are presenting to your patrons.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for an outside sales representative/account manager.
You will be calling on a variety of food service establishments and discussing and presenting our company as an alternative, primary or secondary food supplier to their business.
We have openings in the following territories: Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph, Fergus, Elora, Cambridge, Stratford, Woodstock, London, Orangeville, Brampton, Milton and Windsor.
WHAT YOU BRING
A valid driver’s license and vehicle.
At least two to four years or more experience in the food service industry, ideally as an Owner, Manager, Caterer or previous experience as a Sales Rep/Account Manager for a foodservice distributor.
The ability to cold call and build relationships with new customers along with leveraging your current network of contacts in food service establishments to help grow your account base with 100 Mile Food Services.
A passion for food and customer service. You realize that a successful sales person must build trustworthy and long lasting relationships. You can do this with ease. You are adept at finding the decision-maker and help them make the right buying decision. You know the importance of upselling and cross selling to maximize every sales dollar spent by customers.
You believe in our motto of “Delivering fresh. Every day” and can translate that into your own set of actions in terms of creating ideas for your customers using products sold by 100 Mile Food Services Ltd.
WHAT WE PROVIDE
Uncapped, unlimited earning potential with very competitive commission structure that allows successful candidates to earn from $50,000 to $150,000 per year based on their volume of business and product mix.
Product Support, logistic and warehouse support knowing that our products are their freshet and delivered virtually the next day to our customers.
Marketing material including professionally printed product sheets.
Two to Four Week paid training.
A Protected territory.
A Corporate Chef that can help your customers with menu development, product demonstrations and “Guest Chef” special events at their food service establishment that center’s around the use of products specific to 100 Miles Food Services Ltd.
