Sodexo Canada has the position you are looking for. Our Remote Sites Division is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Unit Manager. This role will require you to work in camp 21 days in, 7 days off.

  • You will support the District Manager, our client, management and support team to deliver on defined service targets (food and facilities management services) to ensure that the remote site is operating efficiently and within contract agreements.
  • Manage unit finance, budgets, purchasing and inventory with the General Manager to ensure smooth operations of the site.
  • Manage the day to day Sodexo team leading a strong safety culture and exceptional customer service
  • Establish and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship resulting in highest levels of client and customer satisfaction and account retention, and future business growth plans

Growth and Development:

  • You must possess a Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Facilities, Business Management or Hospitality Management
  • Familiarity working within a unionized environment is an asset
  • 4-6 years of previous experience managing teams in food service, housekeeping or facilities is an asset
  • Strong financial management skills working with budget, forecasting, inventory, purchasing, labour costs
  • Experience working with retail, facilities services, food services, grounds keeping services, housekeeping, and maintenance services
  • People oriented, outgoing personality
  • Exceptional customer service skills, negotiation skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong safety management record, leading excellence in workplace safety
