Sodexo Canada has the position you are looking for. Our Healthcare division is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Housekeeping Manager within our busy Hospital Healthcare client site working with our Custodial and Janitorial department at our busy acute care site.

Accountabilities:
In your new role, you will lead your team to work with strong best practices in a busy hospital/acute care janitorial environment. You will lead a strong safety culture to guide employees to perform their work in a safe timely manner. Working with our client objectives and performance metrics, you will coach your team, plan work schedules and other duties assigned.
Supporting the General Manager to deliver on defined workloads and safety targets for On-Site Service Solutions you will establish and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship resulting in highest levels of client and customer satisfaction and account retention, and future business growth plans

Growth and Development:
Strong knowledge of janitorial and custodial management within healthcare an asset
Strong leadership, human resources experience working within a unionized environment is an asset to provide performance management, coaching, scheduling and directing daily activities
A minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role leading a large team of 100 plus employees
Lead a strong safety culture – tool box talks, safety audits, on boarding, training, coaching
People oriented, strong safety acumen, outgoing personality
You must possess a valid driver’s license
