In your new role you will report to the Resident District Manager and lead the Housekeeping, Portering and Linen Services teams in this large Healthcare facility. You will be responsible to direct all daily activities within custodial/janitorial, housekeeping services and Patient Portering services. You will be required to exceed the expectations of our client. You will establish, maintain, grow and leverage solid and mutually beneficial client and staff relationships in your role and create an environment of excellence. You will use your skills to manage costs, work with budgets daily, weekly as well as schedule staff and perform quality audits. You must have a passion for creating a safe work environment and manage employees within the Sodexo safety standards. If you enjoy working with a large and diverse team, this is your role.
Growth and Development:
- Management or Business Degree, certification is mandatory
-Excellent MS Office skills including Word, Excel, Spreadsheets
-A minimum of 5 years in a similar role
- Proven experience with staff management in a high volume, fast paced setting
-Experience working with Healthcare is considered an asset
-Must be familiar with collective agreements in a unionized setting
-Understand and identify the differences that are unique to P3 projects, performance based contract, service failures and quality failures.
