Accountabilities:

Deliver on production targets for busy 400 person Remote Site Camp
Manage financial data, purchasing, food costing, labour costing, waste management within production of more than 1000 meals per day
Establish and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship resulting in highest levels of client and customer satisfaction and account retention, and future business growth plans

Growth and Development

Red Seal Chef papers are a mandatory requirement for this role
5 years experience in managing large scale unionized food service operation, preferably in Remote site settings
HACCP, and Physical safety knowledge
Maintain to his highest standard the sanitation rules
Perform effectively under pressure and meet Sodexo standards and objectives
Planning, organizing and effective time management skills.
Experience in managing and leading a diverse team
Responsible for ordering food and supplies
Responsible to maintain inventory and manage food cost, meet the menu requirement.
Train, coach, supervise and evaluate cooks, receivers and kitchen dietary aide
Responsible for interview, hire, schedule cook and kitchen helpers
