Typical Day at work; - Prepare pizzas ,wraps and subs, take people orders( slicing deli meats) help prepare sample trays when business was slow we would clean and do inventory
I learned about safe lifting ,I also Learned safe knife handling and food handling,inventory (counting items, taking expired things off of the shelf ), Good customer service skills and how to deal with unhappy customers.
My managers and co workers were very nice understanding and easy to work with :)
Hardest Part of my job was remembering some of the codes for the deli meats but after a while you just remember it becasue It was a popular item.
Most enjoyable part was talking to the customers helping them anyway I was able to and my coworkers they made the job fun while being professional.

A typical day will include going through and filling out receiving orders. Pricing items according to department procedure. Rotating expiration items and providing knowledge of items (placement) to customers.

Working at Sobeys is a pleasure. A typical day is to assist customers when begin their grocery items. Also, I have to clean my cash till to maintain store cleanliness. The managers are friendly and listen to employee's needs. My co-workers are supportive and help make work enjoyable.

typical work day was producing large amount of breads and buns for the community of 5000 people including constant lifting of 44 lbs bags of flour and 18 lbs of dough from the mixer for 9 hours. learned that communication and organization completes the work day. \management was around when need. Had few co workers to work with or constant change over. Hardest part of the job is putting 100 pieces of stock away 4 days a week solo. Most enjoyable part is being able to help fulfill the customers needs.
