A typical day at work consists of cutting POs and expediting or postponing orders and updating the system for comments on critical parts. I have enough to do, but not too much to require me to stay longer than regular hours.
My manager is easy to work with, fair and able to make decisions at the right time.
This workplace has taught me time management. I have learned to prioritize such that I can balance my workload and avoid peaks and valleys in the demands for my time.
My co-workers are fun to be with. We have a backup system so that one can be away without worrying what happens to his/her pending work.
The hardest part of the job is when a drop-in demand happens and all of a sudden a several items with long lead times are required as soon as possible. This tests my capability to find parts in the market and get the best price possible.
The most enjoyable part of the job is when all my parts arrive as they are needed.
