Education: College Diploma from a recognized institution in the field of Audio Engineering or another related discipline.

The Audio Engineer/Sound Technician would be responsible for all the audio aspects of each of the eBooks and the eBook apps. Such as: Ambient music, sound effects, Narration and their implementation within the eBooks using our proprietary software.
The Audio Engineer/Sound Technician needs to be aware of the client’s needs and the style of the eBook. They need to be able to find the important elements of a track or a combination of tracks and use those to the greatest advantage. They will need to have a sharp ear, creativity and good intuition for what sounds will create the most beneficial user experience. The Audio Engineer/Sound Technician should be proficient at using sound editing software such as Audacity.
The Audio Engineer/Sound Technician will use technical equipment to record sound, amplify voices and edit recordings. They must be adept at solving problems and collaborating with others. They must have good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills to work in a key role as a part of the Creative team.
Computer skills are a strong asset and applicant should also have experience using Microsoft Office. Ability to play a musical instrument is an asset.
