Our client is a leading Manufacturer of children's products selling to retailers across North America. They are looking for a Sales Representative based out of Toronto to develop and maintain strong business relationships with independent retailers and small chain stores. If you’re hungry for a challenge and genuinely enjoy working with people, this could be a great opportunity. We are looking for someone with 2- 5 years sales experience within the consumer goods industry

Children's products

Training: Ongoing product training - On the road coaching on sales approach


Academic: College degree or equivalent experience needed
# years of experience: 2 to 5 years of sales experience within the consumer goods industry
Language: Bilingualism, impeccable English required. French will be considered an asset
Transferable contacts: Knowing owners / buyers and decision makers within independent retail stores selling children's products would be considered an asset
Transferable knowledge: N/A
Travel (time): Occasional overnight travel will be required
Other: Must be able to work independently - Highly motivated individual and self starter - Someone who is lable to demonstrate products - Results oriented - Attention to detail


Development vs maintenance (%): 50% vs 50%
Road vs Office: 90% vs 10%
Other 1: Develop and maintain strong business relationships with current and potential clients within your assigned vertical. - Contact existing and prospective clients for presentations via telephone, and face to face.
Other 2: Achieve maximum sales quotas for the territory as set by the company. -Formulate an effective customer call strategy to maximize opportunities in the territory. -Utilizes pipeline management to ensure sales plan is met.
Other 3: Participate in the sales planning, sales strategies, territorial coverage, and prospecting customers to generate new business.
Other 4: Constantly review all sales activities, targets, and strategies in order to maximize results. -Ensure customer needs are effectively met and build productive customer relationships. -Be accountable for customer satisfaction
