Primary Accountability

You will provide day to day support for the Human Resources Team in a variety of areas. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for the Human Resources Advisors including:

o Posting of all employment opportunities to the internal company and external websites and coordinate printed advertisements as appropriate
o Maintain weekly recruitment tracking spreadsheet
o Send out all notification e-mails
o Track costs for all recruitment postings and provide receipts for final reconciliation
o Perform job description research and draft job descriptions as required
o Manages the Career’s inbox on a daily basis
o Track and pre-screen applicants
o Maintain Sinopec Daylight’s career website (external) and myDaylight (internal) job postings by ensuring postings are removed in a timely fashion as positions are filled
o Perform and transcribe reference checks
o Transcribe interview notes to be included with the hiring documentation
o Assist HR Advisors with drafting employment agreements as required
o Enter the successful candidates information into the HRIS system
o Various other administrative tasks as required

Qualifications

As the successful candidate you will have 1 – 2 years of experience in a Human Resources Assistant role. A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources is preferred and experience in oil & gas is a definite asset. You will have strong relationship building skills. With great attention to detail you pride yourself on your organizational skills and are able to maintain confidentiality at all times. With your natural team aptitude you are able to provide exceptional customer service to internal departments and external vendors.
