About Silvera for Seniors
Silvera is Calgary's leading non-profit provider of affordable housing and services for people 65+. For more than 50 years, Silvera for Seniors has provided safe, affordable housing for 1,500 lower-income Calgary seniors from all walks of life. We are Calgary’s largest provider of affordable seniors’ housing, the second largest in Alberta.
Our 25 communities are located in all four quadrants of the city. They offer independent living with a range of housing and support options for lower-income people in the “silver era” of their lives.
We recognize that all people are individuals, and we work to create vibrant communities that residents can call home. We work with partners across Calgary to augment the services and supports we provide.
Our purpose is to give seniors the respect they deserve and make it great to be a senior in Calgary.
Silvera will be a leading advocate and caring provider of affordable homes and services for seniors to live in place with dignity.
