Productive workplace.
Lead SQA Engineer (Current Employee), Newark, CA – November 8, 2012
* Typical day at work:
Testing builds/releases as per the deadline. file bugs. bug review meetings with development, complete your with your best effort.
No one is rigid about time to come in and leave but expectation is you'll spend around 8-9 hours at work.

* Learning new technologies and product was always the most enjoyable part of work.

Productive and profitable work place.
Hardware Engineering Technician (Former Employee), Newark, CA – October 24, 2012
• Typical work would often be intense due to impacted scheduling, critical debugging of high priority technical support issues and troubleshooting/testing multiple devices at once.
• Duties included pre-production testing, such as new OS, Network Certification, UL, and Environmental testing.
• I often worked closely with the software, manufacturing – more... and technical support departments in solving high priority in-house issues.
• I enjoyed working with my fellow coworkers. We were able to work well together in solving high priority issues.
• My management was very open to helping with extremely tough issues by consulting with other engineers from different business units who had experience with similar issues. – less

Sierra had a very good core of people despite being under-staffed.
Contract Technical Writer (Former Employee), Newark, CA – July 12, 2012
Co-workers usually had to work with suspect equipment (dated computers) and an inadequate network server. With two exceptions, it was a pleasure working with everyone there. Sad that the Canada headquarters decided that the Califonia office was too expensive (salaries, housing) to continue. (Closing Dec. 30, 2012)
