Great people, great atmosphere.
Assistant Front Store Manager (Current Employee), Ottawa, ON – April 14, 2013
This by far is one of the greatest companies I have ever worked for. The owner and the manager are two of the most amazing people I have ever had the privilege to work for. I would recommend this place of employment to anyone.

I work with great people, I enjoy my actual job, the hours are great, great pay and benefits.

The only downside are the occasional – more... grumpy customers that might come in, but that is with any job in retail. – less

A fun and effective working environment
Merchandiser/Cashier (Former Employee), Innisfil Beach Road – April 10, 2013
Pros: constant customer interaction
Cons: layout of the building itself.
Working at Boston Pizza on a daily basis was always something new. New customers kept you talking and interacting which was alot of fun.

I learned alot about dealing with people in certain situations and how to make the most out of what you have.

Management at Boston Pizza were understanding and professional.

The staff at the time were strong at – more... there jobs and they worked effectively.

The hardest part of the job was communicating take/delivery orders because the kitchen would always take whats off the screen but not on the order sheet.

The most enjoyable part of the the job was talking and interacting with all the customers. – less

Starting off is great, but later on...
Customer Service/Overnight Shift (Former Employee), St. John's, NL – April 10, 2013
Pros: great salary, great co workers
Cons: horrible management, bad hours
I started off working floor and then was switched to night shift. After my physical and mental health were wearing on me after 2 years, I decided I had to get out of it. After asking my manager to be moved, he either danced around it or offered me positions that neither he or I knew I could take. In the end, I had to quit due to the horrible atmosphere – more... and the night shifts hours. – less

Over all not to bad
Store Supervisor (Former Employee), Beamsville, ON – April 8, 2013
Pros: responsibility of being supervisor
Cons: not being appreciated for my hard work
A typical day at work consisted of opening/closing the store, completeing all paper work that has to be done for each day, create tasks for all employees I am in charge of for my shift. Answer to any phone calls and customers questions and complete tasks management has order for me to do that day. I learned the responsibilities of being a supervisor – more... in a big retail store and enjoyed it very much. Management was not always around when needed but my fellow co-workers were the best. The hardest part of the job was keeping up to everyones needs on a very busy day and trying to complete all work but I always made sure the work was completed in a timely manor and before my shift ended. The most enjoyable part of the day for me was seeing helping customers and always putting a smile on their faces. – less

I respected my co-workers and the health professionals greatly.I also enjoyed my career as well.
Pharmacy Technician (Former Employee), Camrose, AB – March 24, 2013
I really enjoyed working with all of my co-workers but I had also worked with them for over 10 years. We were like a family unit and we worked well together. Everyone was always very helpful in all aspects of the job always there for each other. A typical day always started off and running, we are a very busy store, there was no down time. It was always – more... challenging and everyday was different. I enjoyed that aspect of the job. I liked the involvement of dealing with the clientele and the other healthcare professionals. Unfortunately if it was not for my associate, I would still be under your employment. The job became intolerable for me to stay. I also would have liked to be able to have had an opportunity to have my concerns addressed at the time by your company, as I know my former colleagues would have liked to as well. Thank you for the opportunity and would like you to know what a privilege it was for me to have worked with a great group of professionals. – less

Always enjoyable & fast paced!
Sales/Customer Service (Former Employee), Midland, ON – March 21, 2013
Pros: fast paced, never boring, great people
My favourite days at Shoppers were the insane busy ones! I love talking with customers & helping them out, and I always tried my best. The staff was excellent, and always willing to help out. The hardest part was the slower days, when you have to find things to clean or restock shelves. Most enjoyable was returning customers who truly appreciated you!

Cosmetician/Cashier/Merchadiser (Current Employee), Kamloops, BC – March 15, 2013
Pros: holidays, benefits, co-workers
Cons: hours are cut without warning
A typical day at work would include either a morning shift, 8-4:30,
or a night shift, 1:30-10.
I would arrive at work and strive for my first sale of the day.
Co-workers and I get along great, and we feed off of eachother for sales.
Management does their job and Co-workers are friends.
