Everyone is friendly, helpful, customer service oriented and we make a great team, working here is just like being part of the familly.
Pharmacy Technician (Current Employee) – Richmond, BC – 1 July 2014
The hardest part of the job is inability to give customers timely service with lineup at both counters, phone ringing off the hook and only two people working in the pharmacy.
The most enjoyable part is when customer leaves us happy and well looked after ( all questions re new medication answered , med review) and comes back with family and friends to use our pharmacy.
My co workers are great we help each other and make very good team. When pharmacy is busy they will receive medications order and on the slower days I will help stock up front store shelves - by now I can find anything in the store not only in the OTC section. We give better customer service.
Excellent benefit package and free in house training.
Low wages and not enough hours so I have to work 6-7 days a week and still can't pay my bills.
Cosmetician (Former Employee) – Dartmouth, NS – 27 May 2017
By far my best work experience. Lots of opportunities to learn about products, it was a great introduction to the sales and retail world. Lots of practice working with customers and learning about new products.
The store is always very clean. You are cross trained so everyone knows how to work a cash register. If you want to be trained in other departments you can . Everyone helps eachother out. They really . They pay more than minimum wage which is nice . Management is awesome .

Store Clerk (Former Employee) – Toronto, ON – 25 May 2017
My time at Shoppers was routine and run of the mill, that is to say it was a job in which I worked hard at and received my paycheque for doing so. Being my first job it taught me valuable skills in professional organization as well as customer service. Management was a bit disorganized at times but I have no major issues with the company and enjoyed my time there.

Merchandiser/Sales Associate (Former Employee) – Scarborough, ON – 25 May 2017
I have worked as a temporary merchandiser in Shoppers Drug Mart in the year 2017. Working here was really a fun with nice environment. But I think their strategy should be making their prices more competitive like the "Wallmart". So, they should think about reorganizing and tuning their supply chain management. Maybe if they can plan their purchases centrally with big lots in central warehouses, they can lower their purchase prices and be more competitive like their competitors.
