Cashier/Stock Clerk (Former Employee) – Dougall and Cabanna – 19 December 2013
The management is uneducated, and lack the critical thinking skills necessary to run a billion dollar organization. Hiring practices are biased because family members or friends of current employees are always hired. Employees are not notified of scheduling changes. Insufficient training is provided to new employees. Supervisors are not payed for lunches that they have to work. Employees are asked to perform tasks without pay following the completion of their shifts. Management shows discrimination and makes racial remarks towards employees when customers are not present. The management disciplines employees for stuff that does not make sense, and does not provide sufficient video footage to support the claim. Video footage provided is never 100% definitive, and they fire people based on speculation rather than definitive evidence of wrongdoing. No employee harassment prevention sheets were in place for two years. Labor Board had to ensure that harassment prevention forms were filled out. Overall, a very stressful and unprofessional company to work for. This store averages a turnover rate of 40 people per year over the last two years through resignations, terminations, and employee transfers. I would seek another place to work.

The competition is an healthy competition and its a place where everybody looks out for one another. There is good managerial culture and the communication system is so great. Good remuneration package with a good work culture.
Great people to work with. Bad hourly pay and not much for raises.
Cash Supervisor (Former Employee) – 415 Herald court, Saskatoon, SK – 20 January 2018
I enjoyed working here as all the employees and managers were really nice and good. I was promised 13/hr but never happened. I was payed 11.55/hr. Always had chips and chocolate that was about to expired in break room and cosmetics would do like an employee sale every once in a while for 6 items for 2 dollars. So you saved like 100's of dollars with that on make up. Overall it was good but not enough pay and never scheduled more then 32-34 hours a week for full time employees.
