When I left Shire, I had to take tests regarding software and Shire is using OLD Versions of databases and software. They are NOT up to industry, but shhhh don't tell them, let them believe whatever they want. It is the most unprofessional company of all the Pharmaceutical companies I've worked for.

There are MANY managers at Shire that do not know HOW to manage and DON'T manage at all. They let some take comp time, then the other half of the department is angry because they're not allowed to. Issues aren't addressed, instead they are swept under the rug. There are VERY FEW good managers at Shire. Shire promotes the WRONG people and it's making the compay a complete failure.

Then how come the GI Vice President was fired along with is 5 Zone Directors becausse they were talking "off label?" It is a Federal Crime for Shire to talk "off label" yet they think they can get away with it and do it anyway. Not sure if the FDA even found out yet. It's a federal crime, so there's NO ethics followed at Shire. They do what they want to do. And it's usually illegal.
