Some people are cool
Disassembly Technician (Former Employee), Vaughan, ONOctober 17, 2015
Pros: some co-workers are nice, day shift ends at 3:00 pm and you learn a lot about Ac/D motorsC
Cons: other co-workers complain about little things, Pay sucks. for the work you're doing. $13/hr. NO FUTURE in this company
A typical day there was good, some people are nice and down to earth. you get enough work to complete in a day so it's never too boring and the managers aren't on your back to get the job done, you just get your job to be completed for the day and you complete it or finish it the next day or it'll usually go to the next person. The most enjoyable part of the job is going home to be honest. The pay does suck as they start you off at $13/hr for the type of work you're doing , it should be $16-$18/hr. Just. not enough money to pay bills and help out your family , you're helping out the company more than yourself. The day shift Team lead is a jerk and will insult you. Instead of trying to cope with you and work with you and guide you to being better at the job you're doing. instead they'll just complain and move you around to different departments untill they move you out the door and find someone else. There is a so called work "efficiency" that you wont know about so if you're doing your best at something and it's not good enough to them then they'll just move you. I am not going to write a book about this company even though I probably could but take my word for it or don't take my word for it, its up to you. This company to me and many others, even most people that work there now would tell you there is no future.

Logistics Supervisor (Current Employee), Concord, ONJune 17, 2015
Pros: Flexbility of hours
Cons: although the hours sometimes can be long
I learned a lot at Sherwood Electromotion; the hardest part of the job was having to negotiate salary. The most enjoyable part of the job was having it feel like play with big tools...like the overhead cranes, 20,000lbs forklift

Unloyal Employer
Logistics Supervisor (Former Employee), ConcordOctober 19, 2012
Pros: freindly people
Cons: long hours
Employer will let anyone go no mater how hard working or loyal employee is, in favor of hiring minimun wage canidates. Even though Employer's revenue is in the millions with TTC, Bombardier, CN, and CP contracts.
