As part of the Digital Marketing team, the e-Marketing Specialist is responsible for effectively supporting internal departments and faculties in deployment of integrated online campaigns including email, web landing pages and social media. Our ideal candidate will also play a role in reviewing web analytics and recommending methods to improve and optimize online marketing tactics and campaigns to achieve Sheridan’s branding and recruitment goals. This position reports to the Associate Director, Digital Marketing Strategy under direction of our Digital Marketing Analyst and works closely with all members of the Digital Marketing, Creative Services and IT teams.

Specific responsibilities include:
Create and deploy email campaigns by executing tasks related to email HTML development, audience segmentation, email scheduling and sending for multiple departments. Ongoing email activities would consist of:
Template or single HTML email creation, QA/testing, approval process, scheduling and deployment campaign analysis
Oversee and deploy necessary email tests for quality assurance and email optimization. Assist in the testing and optimization processes for continued performance improvement
Ensure correct delivery of emails and perform routine list hygiene
Conduct quality assurance reviews and other activities to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of email deployments
Ensure messages are mobile-friendly.
Ensure email campaigns conform with and abide by all regulations and policies.
Track and analyze integrated marketing (online and offline) campaigns.
Monitor web traffic and goal conversions; perform regular analysis and make recommendations on ways to improve the internet marketing performance
Set up web analytics goals to ensure that all campaigns are effectively measured
Assist in the development and execution of social media campaigns for the corporate website and existing microsites
Create graphics and image optimization to improve the visual appearance of the website, campaign Landing Pages and email
Using the content management system to add/update information and images, making modifications based on web analytics data and SEO best practices.
Ensure that all online content is in accordance with the brand image standards, corporate quality guidelines and marketing practices.
Edit and post video and interactive content
Contribute to key corporate initiatives including program launches, and other marketing-related activities as necessary.
