We have a position available to oversee the responsiblilities of our Crowfoot N.W. Window covering and Home Decorating Store. We are looking for a long term staff member to join our team.
-Greeting customers in showroom and on the phone, answering questions on our many services, providing pricing, generate customer satisfaction to increase Sheila's Window Toppers sales of custom blinds, draperies, furniture, upholstery, wallpaper, etc.
-Meeting with customers that come to the showroom and showing them product offered by our manufactures. Give pricing on products in the showroom prior to booking in-home consultations for the Decorators.
-Receiving blinds-tagging and sorting new blinds delivered by couriers
-Cleaning, keeping store clean, dusting of blinds, tables, showroom, cleaning floors, keeping store tidy.
-General Office Duties-Filing, typing,and any other general duties needed for the day to day operations of the store.
-Helping Installer-Going to clients homes with installer to help sort blinds for the installer.
Skills & Ablilities Required
Must have a Flair for Design and color co-ordination
1-2 years experience in Retail
Confident and capable of using MS word, e-mail & Internet
Possess a creative flair or instinct for decorating and color selection
Excellenct organizational skills
Self motivated, able to work well with little or no supervision.
Excellent math skills
Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and oral)
Able to lift up to 40 pounds
Knowledge of window covering would be an asset. Must be willing to complete on-line courses at home during training.
Must be able to work Saturdays All of the above noted job responsiblitites must be able to be completed.
