Sharek Logan & van Leenen LLP is a mid-sized law firm located in downtown Edmonton and we have an immediate opening for an experienced legal assistant to work in our Wills & Estates practice area.
This person will also provide assistance with all Probate and Represented Adult matters.
The qualified assistant will be responsible for preparing various correspondence; scheduling of appointments; file management; maintenance of calendars and file diary system; data entry, filing and other clerical duties as required.
Along with a legal assistant diploma along with 2+ years of relevant experience, the successful applicant must have exceptional interpersonal skills with a professional mature work ethic; be highly organized, focused and attentive to detail; have a great attitude, and a willingness to learn, work hard and grow. Typing speed, accuracy and word processing skills are also a must as are proficiency with MS Office and PCLaw.
