Technical Customer Service Representative
Great opportunity for someone with a background in the industrial, commercial, electrical or mechanical fields
This front shop position requires an individual with exceptional leadership skills who will be responsible for managing the front shop, be part of the management team and provide exceptional customer service.
This position does not require a technician but some knowledge of electric motors, fans, pumps gearboxes and rewinding would be a plus.
The ability to motivate and train as well as the skill to improve efficiency, provide fast response to customer requests and contribute to the sales growth of the company are important attributes of the person we are looking for.
Purpose of Job
To be the voice of the customer inside the company
Plan, co-ordinate and direct the activities of the customer service team to meet objectives
Identify root causes of customer service issues and challenge the management team to effect solutions as well as monitor progress of actions
Significance of Role
This role will be a catalyst in ensuring that everyone in Seymour Smith delivers on the service promise within the company and help in delivering continuous improvement to the benefit of the customer and company
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures
Define and communicate to all staff the expected service standards
Identify and implement strategies to improve quality of service, productivity and profitability
Liaise with all areas of the business to provide service improvements
Identify and address staff training and coaching needs
Constantly look for opportunities to improve efficiency, customer service and sales activity
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years industrial or commercial related experience preferred
