ServiceMaster Restore of Edmonton is currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant in our operations unit. This full time continuing position is responsible for providing office administrative support to our Operations Manager. A large part of this position will be tracking data, creation of spreadsheets and ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.

A successful candidate for this position will hold excellent verbal and communication skills, as well have knowledge in Office programs such as Word and Excel. The individual must be a self-starter, quick learner as well take pride in attention to small details.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Heavy accurate data entry
  • Creation and update of spreadsheets
  • Filing, Scanning, Photocopying
  • Handling of personnel information such as new hire packages for shop hires
  • Compiling statistics
  • Monthly reconciliation of gas receipts for company
  • Expense reports for shop employees
  • Ordering of shop and office supplies

Key Competencies

  • Strong excel skills
  • Familiar with all Microsoft software
  • Ability to work in a high volume environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Admin assistant certificate from a post-secondary institution is an asset
  • 1-3 years in previous related role
