It' way a fun day, working with people of all sorts
Parts Manager (Former Employee), Longmont, CODecember 8, 2014
Pros: inside cafeteria; free coffee; vending machines near your area;volleyball teams.
Cons: wasterful company, making billions and wont' give the employees and decent raise. but spend money silly.
The area I worked in was ok, wasn't cost efficient, very wasteful. Parts were constantly being ordered unnecessarily. Too many people ordering parts. No master list. No organization accept in the area I organized. Watched employees rifle through shelf looking for parts or pieces needed for assembly. No master listing and the company doesn't want it – more... with one. there are 3 maybe more departments pulling parts from the same area and each person unless they seen it before and to look for it. No organization. – less

A good place for growth as stepping stone...
Team Lead for French and English (Current Employee), Oklahoma City, OKDecember 1, 2014
This is a very good entry-level job to get your feet wet within Corporate America. There are a lot of positive aspects about what can be learned and the ability to grow here.

I think there comes a point when you must ask yourself if you have outgrown your job description, and even if you and the company have outgrown each other, in terms of further – more... experience and growth.

Seagate aims to not be labled a 'call center'. They would like to be viewed as a solutions center and a company that promotes 'customer advocacy'.

The hardest part of the job is the office politics and who you know – less

Seagate Technology has been around for many years. There ability to move fast, adapt to new technology stacks, and attract the best qualified people help to ensure their competitive edge in this fast passed world.

This is a company who rewards those who are willing to meet stretch goals/work outside of their comfort zone.

Being an international company, – more... you will have a chance to work with people from many different countries and cultures. The additional perspectives are highly regarded and also help fuel new ideas.

If you are interested in quality, the use of such things as SixSigma, this is a company to consider.
