Lets face it, its a factory. Who enjoys working in a factory?
Okay, so I will admit it is a pretty clean, bright, well ventilated factory.
The pay is fairly okay, its doable. Just be patient and you will get raises. The full benefits are awesome.
The people/coworkers, not so much.
Yes, there are a few very amazing people who work there, mostly are material handlers. They are the genuine, trustworthy ones.
The rest of the factory, just don't speak to anyone.
It is like reliving highschool all over again. You slip and fall, the entire factory knows in about .05 seconds and don't stop talking about it until someone else does something that is worthy of talking about.
Don't tell anyone your personal life or things.
Just keep to yourself. Best way to get by.
If you p*ss someone off, the wrong person, it will go to HR and you can say by to your job.
ESPECIALLY day shift! Just avoid them at all costs.
HR, management staff, stay on their good side or keep to yourself.
The hours though.. good luck getting on the day shift. You will be waiting 5+ years. Until then you will be stuck doing steady afternoons or midnights. Midnights I would recommend as that is where most of the decent people are, the pay is .25 more, and you still get to enjoy half your day before work.
A ton of overtime to make extra money.
But the factory, HR, whoever runs the place, is so unorganized you would think a group of 5 year olds ran the place. If it wasn't for the employees knowing how to actually do their jobs, Schukra wouldn't even last a day.
