Human Resources Manager (Current Employee), Rockville, MD – July 23, 2013
Pros: great growth potential
Cons: pto doesn't carry over
This is a large multinational organization. There are numerous programs to learn and grow. Benefits are good, but the vacation doesn't accrue from year to year. People work hard and are nice to work with.
Electromecanico 2 (Former Employee), Funza, CUN – March 25, 2014
Making outgoing calls to clients for repair promotions and status updates. Attend meetings for the 3 Committees I am on, Grant, Cool Site, and Healthy Lifestyle. Not only do I complete my assigned job duties everyday, but I also go above and beyond to successfully provide a healthier/modern work place by completing job tasks assigned within the three – more... committees I am currently on. – less
National Account Manager (Current Employee), Northeast US – March 13, 2014
Pros: overall company strategy around energy management; compensation/benfits
Cons: slow to develop company culture; large organization with considerable bureaucracy
Schneider Electric is the global leader in energy management and plays a significant role in developing and deploying cutting-edge energy projects. The company offers above average salaries and great benefits. Since Schneider Electric is such a large, growth-by-acquisition type of company, a compelling company culture is often lacking.
Production Operative (Former Employee), Leeds, ENG – March 13, 2014
Quite a bit of repetitive work, learnt to cope with deadlines and under pressure management was okay if you had a problem they would try sort it, co workers not so great a few of the foreign workers was very rude. hardest art was keeping up with targets.

Gigante do setor com diversos segmentos de negócio e oportunidades de carreira
PROJECT MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR (Former Employee), São Paulo, SP – February 26, 2014
Financial Controller (Former Employee), Flint, WLS – February 25, 2014
Pros: good career company
Cons: salary and politics
Typical big Company with "different" methods of work, especially financial, where it was accepted by the Company that to fully understand their methods and culture takes time. European management are good to work for and made genuine attempts at a work/life balance, however as always in Finance work pressure and deadlines etc results in this being hard – more... to achieve. Finance was considered essential and the Controller was a senior member of the team, who worked closely with the Factory Manager. A very Team orientated Company. The finance dept was always busy, with the only consistent being change. Development/progression was encouraged, but was dependant upon ability to relocate world wide. – less
Assembly Line Worker (Former Employee), Lexington, KY – February 24, 2014
Pros: great pay
Cons: wearing earplugs all day
I worked with a great group of people. I primarily worked on one assembly line with my group, constructing electrical switches. We would alternate positions in the line every hour. I really got a great understanding of blue collar work in the short time I was with the company. The hardest part of the job was probably the monotony associated with the – more... tasks required. The most enjoyable part of the job was the people I worked with. – less
