Pros: great growth potential
Cons: pto doesn't carry over
This is a large multinational organization. There are numerous programs to learn and grow. Benefits are good, but the vacation doesn't accrue from year to year. People work hard and are nice to work with.
Executive Assistant, Vice President (Former Employee), LaVergne – January 30, 2014
Pros: great people, always willing to help each other. family values.
Cons: lots of org changes..positions getting eliminated.
I was fortunate to have many years with this company. For most of my years, I had fantastic leadership that was always willing to assist me is my personal development yet gave me room to grow on my own. A great work life balance and a fun inviting environment.
Quality Control Inspector (Former Employee), Seneca, SC – January 29, 2014
Checking MCC's setting up drives. The co-workers were real helpful and always willing to help you learn. It was hard to Know when quiting time was because you may have to work over on any given day and the management would not let you know till the last minute and that was fine on most days i was looking for overtime but it always seem to fall when – more... i had something planned. – less
Quality Assurance Engineer (Current Employee), West Kingston, RI – January 23, 2014
Cons: s is too big for it's own good. people are numbers and that does not create a good work environment
Worked for a company that was bought out by Schneider. Before =S= took over the focus was on customers, quality and the view was from management down to their teams. i.e keep the teams motivated and happy.
Since =S= bought my company out they have let a lot of talented, hardworking people go and the focus is now from management up. i.e keep my VP, – more... Sr. VP groups happy at the cost of my team starting to fall apart and create a toxic work environment for them. Customer focus and quality have fallen away off due to cost cutting, and cutting out people who knew what they were doing and people who were very customer focused. – less
