The employees and management are all fun and nice people, but the work is tedious and boring.
Grocery Clerk (Current Employee) – Lethbridge, AB – May 26, 2016
Stocking shelves is not a fun job to have. It's painfully boring, hard to enjoy, and sometimes exhausting work. But the other employees are fun and interesting people, which helps with the boredom. The management seems like they don't know what they're doing, but they are all courteous and nice people. The best part of the job is definitely helping customers and talking to people, whether they be customers or employees. It's a very social work environment.
Grocery clerk and training (Former Employee) – White Rock, BC – November 16, 2015

Assistant Deli Manager (Former Employee) – Fort McMurray, AB – December 10, 2014
Always busy (made day go by fast) Always got enough or more hours Terrible resolution for dealing with corrupt management Great coworkers Safety information consistently provided and easily found Average wages but consistent with raises
Front End Specialist (Current Employee) – Edmonton, AB – April 5, 2015
I had a good amount of training when I started which was helpful. I learned a variety of codes and how to operate the cash register. The management was okay. I would have enjoyed interacting more with the manager of my department as well as getting offered opportunities for advancement based on my career aspirations. A lot of the people I worked with were nice and helpful. The hardest part of my job was the lack of flexibility when it came to sick days and the most enjoyable part were the regular customers who came in and the overall enjoyable attitude of the people who I worked with.
Produce clerk/ Fresh Cut Department (Former Employee) – Cochrane, AB – July 13, 2015
My review on this job was I enjoyed getting up and travelling to my job everyday, I was happy and learned so many other skills, I enjoyed having a great boss at my job and other employees treated me with respect as I would to them. We all got along and had fun working together. The hardest part of my job was probably doing the order and knowing what product was needed for that week, or until next order day. The most enjoyable part of my job was having a great day with all the other employees I worked with. It was never a dull moment, and loved helping the customers in the best way I could.
Customer Service (Former Employee) – New Westminster, BC – September 30, 2015
it was a pleasure to see many of the customers that would come in on a daily basis. Many of my co-workers became friends and we would do various activities outside of work. Changes were made without coming to the staff to get their opinion and it made many of the staff feel as if we were not important.
all the team members were friendly so it was fun on a job
