  • Data entry into proper account using Quickbooks Software
  • Account reconciliations - Particularly bank and credit cards
  • Retail Cash Reports
  • Bank Runs / Bill Payments
  • GST & Payroll Remittances – includes T4 Summary where the correct C.P.P and E.I deductions per employee are to be calculated and tallied by February each year
  • Payroll
  • Accounts Payable – enter, reconcile and pay bills
  • Accounts Receivable – create invoices and process payments
  • Computer troubleshooting
  • Must be fluent in Excel, Word & Quickbooks
  • Must be a good communicator & be able to multitask
  • Prefer student enrolled in a certified accounting program or at least 5 years bookkeeping experience with accounting courses
  • An almost compulsive attention to detail
  • Impeccable integrity regarding confidential/sensitive information and financial matters
  • Patience and diplomacy, as some of our members are not especially computer-literate and tactful troubleshooting is occasionally needed
  • Flexibility and a willingness to pitch in where needed
  • Must have 3 references
