The work and training they offer is always on point. They do not how ever keep up with renewing them until asked or given emails from the head office which should not have too. I have worked with this company for 10 years and I am not sure I would go back.

The management are ready to listing to staff with their request and response to their needs. All the staff always wear smile on their faces. you don't have to be an aboriginal before you can become a staff in Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority.

Poor workplace culture. Be prepared for people to go back on their word. HR department was a very unhappy place for employees. Would not recommend that department. The other departments seemed a lot happier and fulfilled.
Confusing direction. Can't think for yourself and Management will take all the credit.

Upper management very difficult to deal with; to the point of harassment as they do NOT appreciate you taking time off ; even if its earned vacation time prior to taking time off you must have a supervisor fully trained to do the job of management, and if they mess up, when you return you are still held accountable. Expectations include being on call 24\7 . Micromanaged by 2 operations managers...& a very picky assistant general manager. Included in this is also a human resources manager who does whatever she is told to do by senior management. Has no brain to make decisions on her own. Based on salary, sounds sounds great, until you discover that you need to attend marketing events, unpaid, sit on whichever board they tell you too, unpaid, and almost every day end up working over fourteen hours, at 7.5 hours pay. No life, not worth it. The floor staff for most part are great, hardworking people, honest and respectable, however, many staff end up fired because of senior managements micromanaging, and do not allow their managers say, therefore the managers are always painted as the bad guy. There is no trust at management level, their all wolves. The only good thing was the pay.

Had too much hassle to deal with. Supervisors were ok but the Manager was a royal pain. Only favoured her "friends", advancement was null/void. Was depressing to say the least. Would NOT recommend for a young person under 35..
