EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATIVE SECRETARY (Former Employee), Swiftwater, PASeptember 4, 2014
Pros: free lunches, company picnics, holiday parties. family oriented.
Cons: stressful at times.
A fun and challenging place to work. Kept up with document changes which were detrimental to manufacturing. I learned to have patience. I worked well with management and co-workers. The hardest part of my job was prioritizing which I handled well. The most enjoyable aspect was a job well done.

QA (Current Employee), Canton, MAAugust 10, 2014
Pros: nice environment
Cons: pressure
I recently joined the QA team. Good to see a diverse workforce. Flexible hours. Good benefits but may not last too long. Good fair minded boss. Mgt injected some long awaited new blood in the organization with new ideas to change. Mgt is very receptive to new ideas. Work can be demanding at times, but not always. I like the job security as well.

Product portfolio a disaster
Vaccine Specialist (Current Employee), Victoria, TXJune 9, 2014
Two years not at full strength with flagship pediatric product with market shares taken by competitor because of no products.
Seasonal flu used to be a commodity product for SP but now is a hopeful growth leader for the company, with multiple other manufactures staying with the pricing of a commodity product. And if you do get your customer to buy from – more... you, all of the big retail chains have the product in their refrigerators weeks before customers because they are the big players, and you as a sales representative get no relief. – less

I worked for ACM not Sanofi directly
Team Lead (Former Employee), Swiftwater, PAMay 27, 2014
Pros: if you can get noticed and hiered by sanofi
Cons: dealing with suppervisor that works for acm as the field suppervisor, and no advancment, limited rases if any.
Working directly for Sanofi is pretty good...working for ACM is pretty bad! for what they have you do and the Supervisor you have to deal with, the pay is no where near enough. But they get away with it, because for the area what they pay is decent.

Technician; Filling (Former Employee), Swiftwater, PAMay 15, 2014
Pros: plenty of overtime
Cons: no communication, personal issues, drama, no help
Hard work, long days, lots of pressure to get stuff done, needs to be more managed by managers and higher ups. No one communities, always getting deviances, always firing tempts, the boss doesn't care about tempts, nor takes time to communicate with the team. Managers don't know the process of the lines, always asking from the production. Try applying – more... to full time job, no interview nor time taken out to talk to the tempts about the full time positions, only takes outsiders with no experience. – less

Formulation Tech (Former Employee), Swiftwater, PAMarch 25, 2014
Pros: they did have alot of safty lunches. they are very good to their employees.
Cons: they really do not hire many of the agency people full time.
Their was alot of manual labor involved. Moving 500lt tanks. Putting on hoses with caps and clamps to get the tanks ready for the SIP/ CIP Process. Which sterilized the inside of the tank. To be ready for the transfer of product. Management always kept us informed on our sch. for production. It was by far the most important position I have ever held – more... in manufacturing. This is a life saving vac. – less

QA Associate (Current Employee), Canton, MAMarch 7, 2014
Pros: long term employees are hard workers, but most have left.
Cons: management is terrible.
Turnover at Canton, MA site is out of control. Over the past 12 months, Quality has lost over 75% of long term employees due to the poor management of the director. New hires are abusive and one deputy director has been under investigation for harassment and creating hostile work environments. This keeps on being brushed aside by Human Resources as – more... they strive to protect management and force employees who come forward to leave the company.
Gossip and back stabbing is out of control. – less

Pros: great place to learn, benefits
Cons: workload
Many opportunities to learn QA, audits, inspections etc. Great benefits, pays to go to school, job security, but workload could be stressful and overwhelming. Need more people.
