Sand Hills Casino, located near Brandon, Manitoba in Carberry is planned to open in the spring of 2014. The ranch style theme emerging from the rolling hills will open with over 350 slot machines, 6 table games, and restaurant service for 225 with adjoining sports lounge to serve guests near and far.
We are currently seeking a Marketing Director and Slot Director join us in this exciting adventure. Both roles will be located directly on the Sand Hills Casino property.
The Marketing Director is the senior leader of all marketing activity that promotes all aspects of the Casino that includes all print, advertising, promotions, radio and special events. Additionally, the Marketing Director oversees the gift shop and players club for the overall service delivery ensuring customer standards are delivered and adhered to in accordance with our Mission Vision and values while achieving business goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years’ experience in a Casino marketing department while managing a team, which includes front line as well as graphic design department. With strong communication and organizational skills accompanied with a creative imagination you are able to meet customers’ needs and create repeat business through a player program that ultimately generates revenue. Your proven savvy allows you to build relationships with suppliers and vendors in addition to guests and patrons. Financial experience developing and adhering to budgets; proficiency with Microsoft Office and MAC functions is required, with some secondary education.
The Director of Slot Operations is responsible for overseeing all slot machines, related gaming equipment and personal for overall optimization of revenue generation under the polices and rules set forth by gaming officiators or senior management. This includes installation of new games, maintenance and repairs. As Slot Director you will analyze game results by day, week, and month for opportunities, hazards or increase game play. The ideal candidate has previous casino experience specifically in Slots, with a focus on gaming results, maintenance, repairs, and installation. Additionally, you have some experience managing, supervising and leading a team responsible for overall customer satisfaction. Strong communication with proven ability to build relationships with vendors and suppliers is necessary. Secondary education in management or electronic gaming is beneficial.
