Sand Hills Casino, located near Brandon Manitoba in Carberry is planned to open in the spring of 2014. The ranch style theme emerging from the rolling hills will open with over 350 slot machines, 6 table games, and restaurant service for 225 with adjoining sports lounge to serve guests near and far.
We are currently seeking a Human Resources Director to join us in this exciting adventure. This role will be located directly on the Sand Hills Casino property.
The Human Resources Director is responsible for promoting and implementing all areas of Human Resources that include; Employee Relations, Benefits, Pension, Health & Safety, Recruitment and Selection; and Organizational Development through a team dedicated to the Casino’s operational goals, mission vision and values.
The ideal candidate is a proven professional with strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate and interact with a diverse group of people at all levels. With excellent communication skills and ability to understand the business goals as well as individual goals you are able to build bridges and strong working relationships through several years of experience at a management level. A thorough understanding of relevant employment laws and standards is necessary with secondary education in Human Resources.
