Senior Manager (Current Employee), Mississauga, ON – April 16, 2013
Pros: free parking
Cons: extremly long hours
Samsung is a company that is growing at a tremendous pace. Consequently, the infrastructure is challenged to adapt. The pace is extremely fast paced, and it is essentially to be able to switch gears and adjust to the crisis of the moment. I have learned the nuances of the consumer electronics business and the challenges of continuing to grow in a viciously – more... competitive market. I have been privileged to lead a great team, and to help them grow in their career development. – less
Market Manager (Current Employee), Remote – November 25, 2014
Pros: constantly innovating, very big company for potential growth
Cons: work/life balance, not enough support
A typical day at work consists of visiting stores to build relationships and work with and train staff to drive sales while performing daily operational tasks. I have learned how to work on multiple projects at once and deliver by timelines. Management are very result driven. Co-workers are all talented and great to work with. Co-workers are very supportive – more... and always willing to pitch in and help out for the common goal. The hardest part of the job is trying to have a work life balance when there are always deadlines. It is hard to take an actual day off because work is always coming in and sometimes expected. Working with the team and seeing success happen. – less
Help Desk Tech (Current Employee), Greenville, SC – November 24, 2014
Easy and pretty laid back. Gets bad when someone accuses you of not doing something on time even thought you did it. Im only a contractor hoping to get a better position but if you want to learn and grow then it is a good job.

Pros: work with great people. good pay. you get to touch the latest phone modles
Cons: can be a bit stressful
A typical work week is 40+ hours, from 7A.M. to 7P.M. and some overtime Saturday. We inspect anywhere from 200 to 500 phones a week, depending on the work load of the week. It is an easy job if your follow the instructions and do your work correctly. This job is not for eveybody, it required patients and takes time to develop the skills to correctly – more... and accurately inspect phones and other devices. The people are great and down to earth, sometimes they may seem stressed out but no more then anyother job. – less
Intern (Former Employee), Suwon – November 13, 2014
Pros: very productive and intense work on a daily basis
Cons: very strong samsung culture
Extremely goal oriented workplace with incessant hardworking spirits. Various chances to work in the expertise area. Very strong inner culture called inner circle mind. Very competitive culture needs guaranteed performances on a year round basis. Very inclined to the academic backgrounds. If you are not in their backgrounds, you might feel lonely and – more... alienated. – less
