Primary focus:

This trainer position is part of the Vancouver Enterprise Lab Customer Support team which is charged with the support and training of enterprise customers, Samsung enterprise partners like MDMs, VARs, ISVs, and carriers. The trainer has the overall responsibility for training, including its planning, organization, and execution. In addition, the trainer will act as an evangelist for Samsung’s enterprise solutions through its various engagements with customers and partners, ensuring that Samsung’s enterprise story is clearly communicated to all involved.

- Deliver product, architecture, process and technical training, including API and SDK training
- Evangelize the benefits of Samsung enterprise solutions and highlight its advantages against competitor offerings
- Create and update training materials in collaboration with technical writers, UX designers, and R&D engineers. Create training materials out of API and SDK guides.
- Develop courses for different types of enterprise partners (carriers, MDM, VAR, etc); different types of training needs (product level or technical level); and delivering the training using different mediums of delivery (face to face, e-learning, webinars, etc.)
- Assess and identify training needs as new products and features in the enterprise space are being rolled out
- Develop training manuals for train the trainer programs with major partners
- Create and maintain training material repository
- First point of contact for trainers from other Samsung organizations and partner organizations
- 5 years related experience in developing and delivering product and technical training
- Strong business acumen with deep understanding of enterprise software and the enterprise ecosystem
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Exceptional presentation and training skills
- High charged with a lot of positive energy, passionate about making a positive impact on people
- Understanding of Android and Java, and a deep understanding of its SDK and APIs
- University degree in computer science or engineering
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
