Good company with no Job security and with poor management
Technical Support Engineer (Current Employee), Toronto – March 27, 2013
Pros: good product and growth.
Cons: poor management, low job security, very poor hr department.
When I got the opportunity in, I am very excited. But with such a poor management team, I don't know what is the future of the employees. Job security is very low in Salesforce, you never know when you get pink slip and you don't know why they are giving it.

Amazing Company, Poor local management
Account Executive (Former Employee), Spokane Wa, – May 7, 2013
Pros: free lunch 2x a week, amazing culture
Cons: no room to grow
Amazing company and culture, I would not turn a single person away from this amazing company . . . . But stay away from the Spokane office. There is no advancement opportunities and the managers only promote the favorites based off after work activities or personal friends. Hard work will only get you so far with this office.

They are true professionals..
Senior Sales Executive, The Marketing Cloud (Current Employee), United States – April 9, 2013
Pros: good snacks onsite, but you eat at your desk everyday so their should be
Cons: no life work balance
Great name to have on your resume if you can stick out the lack of work life balance aspect of the organization. You work 12-14 hours days over and over again, they are a very top heavy and micro manage everything you do.

I cannot really list any positives of this organization, other than the name on my resume.

The company is a great company to work for.
Accounts Payable Specialists & Accounting Clerk (Former Employee), San Francisco, CA – January 21, 2013
A typical work day is process invoices, coding, matching the invoice to the PO and if not then we need to ask for an approval from the department manager before we can process the invoice for payment. Management is great. As long as you get your work done, management will not say anything to you. The hardest part of the job is getting invoices approved. – more... The most enjoyable part of the job is coworker, friends you meet, it is a good environment. – less

Best company to work for
Adjustment Specialist (Former Employee), San Francisco, CA – January 3, 2013
Pros: great employee first company
Cons: so many layers to go through for what would appear to be simple requests
Salesforce.com has the best employee atmosphere I have worked for. There is a lot of work at times, but that is equaled out by the company of culture of allowing employees the time they need to deal with the life and work at the same time.
Management is always working to reward the departments for hard work and striving and to get more productivity – more... during the heaviest work loads on month and quarter end days. – less

Challenging everyday work. new problems to solve everyday.
Technical Support Level 2 Mandarin Agent (Current Employee), Makati Philippines – December 17, 2012
Pros: you get to get trained on one of the most famous cloud computing software.
Cons: salary is average.
The day is spent in providing solution to worldwide customer regarding their problem in Salesforce. Either you troubleshoot the problem or you find a work around for it.

I learned to be patience and to work diligently finding the solution and work around to the problems that customer needs to be solved.

Management pursue us to solve as many problem – more... we can everyday. To avoid clogging the queue with cases/tickets.

All my co-workers are busy with work. Everyone is providing high support to customer of Salesforce.

Hardest part of the job is how to explain to customer that the thing they want Salesforce to have is still not implemented and will be put into Ideas till the feature is made.

Enjoyable moment is to encounter different problems everyday. Not a single dull moment where you get to do the same problem like yesterday. – less

Joyfull – November 8, 2012

salesforce.com recruiters don't put their email or phone number out on linkedin. How does one get to speak with a recruiter? Recruiters at other companies often do this. Salesforce.com asks you to go apply online. There are thousands and thousands of resumes. How would mine ever surface? Suggestions? Thank you.

Pros: free lunches and lots of overtime hours
Cons: no cons it was a great job
I worked for Salesforce as a contract employee for a month. I worked on the Salesforce software as a Data Entry analyst working on there R12 software. We had 8 analysts work on the project where we were transfering data from the old software into the new R12 program that Salesforce had created.
