Our client is the largest customs brokerage company in Canada. They are privately held, well funded and have recently hired a new management team that is exceptionally experienced and poised to take the company through a large scale growth trajectory. The company currently employs over 3000 people across various offices. In 2012, they expanded their service offering and now offer service offerings to Mexico, Europe and Asia. They are looking to hire a Business Development Executive (Outside Sales) to grow their market share in Western Canada.
Meet with clients weekly to negotiate service agreements
Follow up leads and manage the full sales cycle
Selling deals more than 200 transaction annually
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas
University Degree or College Diploma
3-5 years of field sales experience within the service industry, preferably customs brokerage and/or logistics
You must have a proven track record in sales
Must love to 'hunt' new business
Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
Must have strong communication & negotiation skills
Must have experience in cold calling
Experience with Salesforce software is beneficial
This role offers a base salary of $65k with OTE $125k+ along with company health and dental benefits, 3 weeks vacation, and annual education reimbursement.
