One of the world’s leading payment processing organizations has an exceptional account management/business development opportunity in the greater Alberta market place.
Our client is a highly ethical, customer focussed giant in their industry and is looking for a high potential overachiever to help them manage one of their principal referral networks. This role will involve relationship development within the account, developing referrals, building a book of business across greater Alberta and closing deals with small and medium business owners across the province.
This candidate will be responsible for:
Generating business through effective referrals
Presenting a range of payment processing services to key stakeholders in the finance, personal banking and small and medium business verticals
Manage a wide and substantive stakeholder referral network
Proactive cold calling to businesses across greater Alberta
Some minor travel is required (as territory will be Edmonton, Red Deer and some Calgary)
A top candidate for this will have a track record of overachieving in high school, university and through their early career. In addition, they will have a combination of the following traits:

Excellent networking ability. Success will depend on your ability to build strong relationships with a very wide range of stakeholders and generate referrals through that network.
Exceptionally organized. The ability to stay on top of accounts and managing a growing book of business accurately and efficiently.
Regular presentations to stakeholder groups are a requisite and a strong understanding of effective presentation skills in a business setting are required.
This is a well compensated opportunity offering a base salary of $55-65,000 with an first year earning of approximately $90,000+. In addition, this role will include a comprehensive benefits package and generous car allowance.
