I enjoy coming to work every day and getting to know "regular" visitors and patients. I look forward to greeting folks as they enter the hospital and directing them to their destinations. I have been an employee of Sacred Heart Hospital for nearly 40 years working in various departments as a receptionist and have learned a great deal in customer service and satisfaction. The workplace environment is comfortable and calm for the most part. A typical day at work involves greeting those who walk through the main entrance, answering and transferring phone calls, training volunteers and organizing directories. The hardest part of the job is saying "good-bye" to patients and their families after a death or a long hospital stay. Sacred Heart Hospital is a friendly and welcoming place to work and I would recommend it to anyone interested in building a long-lasting career in the medical field as there is much room to grow.
