As Financial Analyst, you shall have responsibility for the analysis and completion of fixed asset accounting, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, related journal entries, billings, and assisting in the month end reporting package completion. Project work will round off your experience with STEP.
Analyze, record entries, and maintain asset schedules for equipment under construction and fixed assets
Cross-train in the Accounts Receivable function
Prepare journal entries for month end close
Maintain lead-sheets, analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts
Prepare and post bank reconciliations
Administer corporate credit cards
Run and analyze operation reports for key metrics
Assist in the preparation of the month end reporting package to management
Project work including assisting in implementing the fixed asset module in the NAV accounting system, transaction process review, create efficiencies in expense report processing, sales tax reporting and continuous improvement in all aspects of the finance group
Assist with external auditor requests
Adhoc requests and queries

Qualifications and Education Requirements
University degree or college diploma, preference to those with a major in accounting
Minimum 5 years related experience
Strong computer skills with an intermediate working knowledge of MS Office, experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Jet Reports preferable
High level of attention to detail, highly organized with effective time management skills
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Client relationship focused and team player
High level of personal integrity and strong work ethic
